If the app doesnt get an update soon Im deleting it. I prefer the thumbnails so I can choose what I want to read.

Ive been using the fox 8 news app since I got my iPad Ive always liked it before this latest update now theres too many ads and you try to read a article but accidentally hit the ad button so now all I see is ads also I cant look at the app horizontally on my iPad with the new app

I used to love my Fox8 news app. I barely open it anymore! It wont switch to landscape view on my iPad and I always use my iPad in landscape mode with a keyboard. As much as I dislike News 19, for their political slant...I go to that now because the layout is much more user friendly and pleasant to work with. Its also more appealing to they eye! Please put your app back the way it was!

While this version seems faster it doesnt support landscape mode? Really? Poor app. If I could give it less stars I would. Update 8/20/15 This app actually deserves NO stars but thats not an option. I waited for this to be fixed but can wait no longer. Ive dumped the app completely and switched to WKYC for news on the iPad. Much better.

All this app is good for is seeing local headlines. Then use browser to search for news story from another source besides Fox8. The sound not working in videos is no good as well

I have used this app for years, I just deleted it because of the awful latest update.

The notification that started my review was "FBI searching for someone flashing a laser pointer at an airplane." This is like spam. This does not deserve a push notification.

Did the upgrade. For videos, turning phone horizontal still does not work! "Nice upgrade" Please fix it. Im going to delete you guys and go to Channel 3 or channel 5 or channel 19! Please fix!

This is a good news app for the on-the go person. The platform could be improved, but overall its satisfactory.

Always freezes and ads always opening when not wanted

No easy way to see school delays and closings?

The new app is terrible. Full of bugs and advertisements. Old app was much better. I use the app to quickly find out whats happening and now Im bombarded with videos and ads.

The new design is so conducive to opening advertisements in my browser I finally gave up and deleted the app. All I want to do is read Cleveland news, not jump back and forth between apps, closing out adds every time I scroll down... Switching to your competition.

Cant actually read the news. Pop ups abound. Trying to scroll down and yes another ad. I get that you need advertising but this is ridiculous. New upgrade soon or Im deleting.

I dont want to delete, but may have to due to every use,this app freezes.... My I pad is updated.... Very frustrating!!! Please fix this!

The app frequently freezes my iPhone, the videos hardly work and "top news" is the same as "news". The app also has way too much ads and pop-ups that also freeze my iPhone. I am rather disappointed and am deleting this app as of today.

Im sorry to say I luv fox8 but the app just doesnt work on my iphone4 still. It freezes real bad, crashes, the video when trying to play it wont rotate with the phone. Scrolling itll freeze up, sometimes for 3-5 minute. The artical all of them get cut off buy other news adds at the bottom of the page. So Im deleted this app after 3 years of trying to use it. I went on line an saved the web version to my cell. It also saves me 63.20 mb on my cell deleting the app.

This freezes all the time and same stories are in multiple categories ...will delete if not corrected soon and tooooo many ads and pop ups
