Constantly freezes & crashes!!! As if there isnt enough ads, the pop up ads after you open a story & have to wait for it to load & then you begin reading & BAM....the pop up ad that doesnt want to close! Seriously Fox 8, by now you have had to be aware of the issues!

This app crashes constantly! Watching video is pointless. Takes three or four crashes to get thru a story even reading it. Im up to date on all updates. Its just a really awful app!!!

This app is terrible. Freezes crashes and cuts out any app that Im listening to in audio. Absolutely horrific

Since your last update your app just crashes and closes. VERY ANNOYING. Will find another app that isnt so unreliable.

I like getting important alerts but I turn the sports alerts off because I dont want spoilers. However when I turn off the option to get sports notifications I still get alerts on the final scores of football and basketball games. Thanks for ruining the games for me!

Crashes constantly since update and videos wont load. The pop up ads are very irritating and very often cant be cancel as the close X doesnt appear on my screen. Please find other ways to appease sponsors.

I have used this app for years and it was always adequate for my purposes but since the update it crashes a lot and ads (video and pop up) have become so intrusive that I will just delete it if not fixed soon. Cant even dismiss the pop up ads, no x or close button shows up. I have to close the app. I realize ads provide revenue but this is too much.

Ads cause it to freeze up and crash. They are the only things that will load. Pop ups are hard to close. Ill NEVER shop at Ashley furniture EVER because their ads are so irritating. Way to go. You killed your own app.

App keeps crashing every time I use it!

It hasnt worked well for a while but the most recent update made it worse. I cant even read a single article without pop-up ads, followed by freezing, often followed by the app crashing.

There are so many ads that it really disrupts reading the articles, not to mention l, it also crashes the app constantly. I have had this app for many years now but since they changed it and started adding a lot of ads, it crashes all of the time. I cant even scroll through the top stories without it crashing on me. I understand that ads are necessary for income purposes, but when you cant find the last part of an article because there are too many ads in the way, that means there are too many ads.

UPDATE 2 months later and an app update: its actually worse since updating the app! It now crashes on the main news page EVERY time. I think I am just done with this app and will delete it and not reinstall. Absolutely horrible app development and maintenance. If I could give this a zero star, I would. Please dont waste your time installing this app. It does not work. I wonder how the advertising people think they invested in a good advertising vehicle?? Update 1 month later: nothing has changed from my initial post below. I even emailed them to make sure they know. They wrote back and said they were aware and I should uninstall and reinstall. I did that and it is still the same. Oh well, hopefully there will be a fix so we can use it again. Unusable as is now. All reviews (which are negative) are accurate since 8/8/16. This latest release is absolutely horrible. It is slow, freezes when you try to scroll and crashes every single time the app is in use. As of now, this app is unusable. I tried to contact them trough the app, but guess what happened? You guessed it, crashed 3 times in a row, so Im hoping they check these reviews and get it fixed.

Im very close to uninstalling this app. Its very frustrating when youre trying to look at a story and the app closes. You guys need to fix this, its not getting any better

I finally got so frustrated with this app that I came here to see what others said. All true! Crashes frequently, freezes while scrolling almost all the time. Occasional updates have fixed nothing I can see. What a shame as it is pertinent to our town but its "almost" un-useable.

This app is absolutely horrible! Crashes, freezes, videos start and then pause for an add that just keeps playing over and over!! So sick of it so just going to delete it! Cant even scroll without it freezing. The ads are ridiculous!

Totally buggy and crappy. Just what I should have expected from FOX.
